FEES FOR A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFIED GUIDE IN MEDJUGORJE FOR 2010
Note:
In case a group has more than 55 pilgrims (but not more than 80 pilgrims), there is a supplemental fee for the guiding service of:
1 EURO for additional person over 55 If there are more than 80 persons in a group, it is obligation to hire an additional guide
Note: In case that a guide is already hired for guiding in Medjugorje for that same day, 60 EUROS are deducted from the amount above.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. Accompaniment by a guide for the groups for languages other than set out herein will be charged with the same rate as for guiding. 2. Outside of Medjugorje, a guide needs to be provided all food and accommodation as all other pilgrims in addition to the required. 3. Service of a guide can be canceled up to 5 days before the beginning of the service without a penalty. To the contrary 50% of the fee needs to be paid for the requested service. 4. A guide is obliged to wait for the pilgrims for up to 1 hour after the appointed time. If a group does not come, or if a group cancels the service afterwards, the basic fee for the required service for that day needs to be paid to the guide. After half an hour of waiting, the guide is obliged to inform the hiring agency that the group is late. 5. The ordering party and guides have to respect professional ethics. The ordering party is obliged to give an itinerary to the guide, and the guide is obliged to follow the itinerary, if possible. 6. A guide is obliged to hand -in tour tickets to the ordering party, vouchers etc. within 2 days after the service is done. 7. If the ordering party requires in writing that a guide delivers a written report, a guide is obliged to do so within 24 hours after the written request. 8. According to the law pertaining to tourism a guide is obliged to carry his tour guide identification card visibly, no other id card is one obliged to carry. 9. The fee schedule is valid from 01.01.2009.
